PlayStation 4: Concluded

  • Private Multiplayer Beta Weekend 1: August 3rd at 10:00 AM PT, to August 6th at 10:00 AM PT

  • Private Multiplayer Beta Weekend 2: August 10th at 10:00 AM PT, to August 13th at 10:00 AM PT

Xbox One

  • Private Multiplayer Beta: August 10th at 10:00 AM PT, to August 13th at 10:00 AM PT

PC on Battle.net

  • PC Early Access Multiplayer Beta: August 10th at 10:00 AM PT, to August 11th at 10:00 AM PT

  • PC Open Multiplayer Beta: August 11th at 10:00 AM PT, to August 13th at 10:00 AM PT

There will also be a Blackout Beta in September 2018, more information to be announced at a later date. Note that Multiplayer Beta codes will also grant you access to the Blackout Beta, first on PS4.

How do I get a Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta code?

Pre-order or pre-purchase Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 from a participating retailer, the PlayStation Store, Xbox Live Store, or Blizzard Battle.net. When you pre-order or pre-purchase from a participating retailer, you will receive a 13-character Beta access code redeemable at callofduty.com/beta

Code redemption is not necessary for pre-orders through the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store, or Battle.net, you're automatically registered to participate in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta. When the Beta begins or the pre-load goes live, you'll be able to download it immediately.

If you pre-ordered through a participating retailer, in most cases, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta code will be printed on the retail receipt or sent to you via email on an online receipt. If you've lost, can't find, or can't read your Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta code that you received for pre-ordering, please contact your retailer to recover your code.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta is open to all players in Russia and the Middle East.

Where do I redeem my Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta code?

Head over to callofduty.com/beta and follow the instructions on the page to reserve your spot in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta. Once your Beta access code is successfully redeemed, you will be registered for the Beta. Registered players will then receive a Beta Token via email before the Beta begins.

You'll need to log in with a Call of Duty account and enter your Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta code.

If you don't have a Call of Duty account, you can create a free one. After creating your free account, you'll be sent an account verification email to the address you provided.

To ensure you receive updates on the Beta, double-check your email address and make sure it is up to date in our system. Log in to your Call of Duty profile to check or make changes to your registered email address.

When will I get my Beta Token?

Enter your Beta Code on CallofDuty.com/beta, you will then instantly receive your Beta Token to redeem on your chosen platform.

Will I be able to pre-load the Beta?

Once you have received your Beta Token, you will be able to pre-load the Beta.

Is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta available worldwide?

Availability of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta will vary by territory and retailer.

I have multiple console accounts linked to my Call of Duty account. On which accounts will I receive a Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta code?

You'll receive a code only for the console that you pick when you register your Beta code.

If you register your Beta code on Battle.net then you will receive a code for PC Beta Early Access only.

Is PlayStation Plus / Xbox Live Gold required to play the Beta?

Yes, PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold is required.

Will my experience in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta transfer over to the full game?

No, experience will not carry over from the Beta. Progress will carry from Beta Weekend 1 to Weekend 2 on PlayStation 4.

However, all participants in the Beta will receive a unique, one-of-a-kind calling card that they can proudly display. And for every player that achieves max rank in the Beta, they will earn a Permanent Unlock Token to apply to any piece of Create-a-Class content when the game comes out.
